Hi. I am doing a cover of Stryper - Together As One. That song needs a acoustic guitar with simple plucking and a lead part as on the original song. The vocal is not done yet. But drums and piano and synth is done. The bass is yet synth but I will record it soon. Is this something you want to do just answer under here.

Update: 03.24.2015
My cover on SoundCloud is constantly being updated, sometimes more than once a day. But I will have a break now when the guitar s being recorded. If its not something special.

Update: 03.27.2015
I am waiting for the singer (a woman) to confirm that the song is not to low. Otherwise it will be transported up to E or even F.

Update: 04.05.2015
Well. We took a hard decision and have transposed the song up to F. And waiting for the guitar to be recorded. I've also done some minor fixes.

Paying gig? Deadlines? I could definitely play all that either like the original or with a bit more modern bite. PM me if you like.

Danny is definitely the first person I thought of as well but he may be busy with his studio.

Cheers.

Guitar rig is perfect. I don't have a deadline. Only a small delay. I have to be shire its in the right pitch for the singer. I know Michael Sweet sings incredible high and this is a female singer. So it should be a match. But I have to have confirmation. Or else we have to do the guitars again.

Also if you can match the sound in a way that's the same spirit, but more pleasant and e.g. little bit softer on the high that would be sweet.

Sounds like a good part of the solo is harmonized.

There are three parts as far as I can tell from the recording. The main guit which starts off by itself, a harmony guit comes in mid point then those two guits start playing more or less in unison while a third comes in to take over the harmony part.

In the live version I think there may be a hardware harmonizer involved.

Ok. But they both play on it in the live version tho. Michael Sweet and Oz Fox. Oz is not in the picture, but he is on the right side of Michael. In the studio I think Michael played it all.

Do you want an exact copy of what Stryper plays for the guitar parts or is there some lee-way allowed? Or in other words, could one play what they felt fit there even though it would be different than the original band's licks?

I would hope wearing those yellow and black jumpsuits ARE NOT a part of this job requirement.
