Glad it got sorted too.  I have not had much success using SD3 with step[ sequencer.  it tends to go to silence at some point  and if i loop it drifts and then stops.  I always have to bounce
 

I don't use the step sequencer much, and tend to use Toontrack for drums, so I can't really comment on issues with them. What do you (dubdisciple) tend to use instead?

I know Bob Bone has done some pretty cool drum stuff with the step sequencer, perhaps he'll pop in at some point.

I tend to use the PRV or a plugin that has it's own built-in drum sequencer like Audiorealism ADM.

At least its good to know im not the only one having problems with it.
Ideally I'd like to have drum mics or an electric kit to record a live drummer but it doesn't seem to be in the budget just yet so Ill keep toying with SD3 and the other drum machines they have in Sonar for now.
