This should be an easy one, but it's baffling me. I bought a legal download of X2 several weeks ago. I've registered it. But like I noticed with X1, it seems that Cakewalk is not taking the registration permanently. It asks me over and over to register it.
 
When I go to the registration site and start typing the info back into it again and finish it, it then says the product has already been registered. I go back, open X2 up again, the same screen tells me to register it, and round and round we go. It will let me open X2 if I keep typing the registration code in.
 
One minute it says I can't use it until I register it, and the next minute is says it's already registered. What can I do for it to get registered and stay registered? What advice do you guys have?

Are you running SONAR as administrator? If not right-click on the SONAR icon to do so or set the option in SONAR's Properties compatibility tab.

I was not running it as an administrator. Thanks for the info, I'll try it tonight. That might be all there is to fixing it.
