Vsampler was great!,but I don't know, looks like is death today...sooner or later you will have to move to a modern sampling environment , remember, just One click!...a long one(drag & drop)

I will never give up my VSampler as it is my most critically important production tool (and I am totally in love with it).  I am (happily) still running VSampler in Sonar X2-32bit on a Win7 64-bit Dell M4600 Workstation 16gb RAM.
If a newer version of Sonar does not work with VSampler, I will not upgrade Sonar...period. VSampler is that important to me.
I think the only time I get Sonar crashes is when I am using V-Vocal. VSampler behaves just fine as far as I can tell.
ONLY THING I MISS IS THE OFFICIAL VSAMPLER FORUM (it got hijacked many years ago)

Tho it's still a bit buggy and convoluted, I still run VSampler on almost every project as it's the only software I have that will play my favorite bass sample sets from the old Gigastudio...

You need to have the (paid) VST version tho. The version that came with Sonar is DXi and is not supported by bit bridge...
