By mistake I tried to load a 32bit pluggin into SonarX2 (64bit) and Sonar froze. Is there a program(bridge) out there that can allow 32bit plugins to work in SonarX2(64bit).

HP i7 Laptop(64bit) Windows 7 Professional(64bit), Edirol UA-25, Roland PC-200 mk11 midi keyboard controller. 2 external USB hard drives for data.

It happens automatically in SONAR via the BitBridge server however; some plug-ins do not work well with BitBridge. Some find JBridge an inexpensive 3rd party solution works better. Then some 32bit plug-ins just don't work in 64bit hosts.

In principal there is no reason why you can's use 32 bit VST plugins in 64 bit Sonar, however as scook says some do not work well, Bitbridge is automatically engaged when you try to load a 32 bit VST, unless you have JBridge and have told Sonar's plug in manager to use JBridge for that plugin.
 
In my experience the ones that dont work well with Bitbridge are those that load samples or poorly written cheap/free stuff.

32 bit DXi plugins are another matter, they will not run in 64 bit Sonar unless you use some sort of DXi- VST wrapper.

Yes, it was a free plugin.  Its called "CS-12M Master Channel Strip 1.67" by Terry West Productions. It looks pretty cool and I did have it running on another application and it sounded great.

Yes, it was a free plugin.  Its called "CS-12M Master Channel Strip 1.67" by Terry West Productions. It looks pretty cool and I did have it running on another application and it sounded great.
