Well there comes a time when people have to change stuff and get modern....
At the moment I started an upgrade transition with replacing my CPU chassis for a more up-to-date thing. Next will be my graphics card which I opted for a Fanless GPU solution which will still do what I need to do.
I placed a * beside each item I already have.
Eventually my goal is to have a setup like this.
Antec P100 White Chassis *Intel Core i7 7th GenerationNofan IcePipe Fanless CPU Cooler16/32GB DDR4 SDRAM256GB SSD drive (for os and programs)256GB SSD drive (for current sample libraries)*1024GB SSD drive (for larger sample libraries)Universal Audio external device (Thunderbolt)Palit GTX 1050Ti Maxwell GPU [Heatsink/No Fan] 4GB I plan to use my current drives as backup storage or reuse one of them in an alternative system. My aim is silent as possible , fast and functional with very little bottlenecks as possible eventually. Leaving only one exhaust fan at 120mm and a PSU fan which gets turned on by the PSU itself when required.
It would be nice and the power savings would show over time.
