I only counted 12 sdx kits on the toontrack site

Plus 18 EZX that run in both superior and EZ.

I thought there should have been more than 12, so where on their site are they ?
They're not all on the same page.

When you load a EZX into Superior you get a lot more functionality out of it. Its still 16 bit though. Best to wait for the half price sales when buying EZX and SDZ expansions.

While I have SSD + CLA and I am still working my way around them, I still like the results I get using pure drum libraries in Kontakt. There are so many of them out there that are reasonably priced (once you have Kontakt).

I'd add to the above recommendaitons for BFD2 - it contains fantastically detailed, organic sounding drums - I compared it with most other major products before purchasing and to me , these just sounded the most organic and authentic.  Obviously others may feel differently on this.  The price is also very attractive these days as well.  Plus it comes with 5000 internal beats, incredible tweakability & the add-on kits give all kinds of flexibility.  For me, nothing comes close to it.

I also have SSD 4 and don't use them.
