@jbow... You can flag me down in threads or PM me anytime you want and I'll try to help. I ain't the most experienced guy here but I might be able to help you get over some of the little bumps in the road or tell you about things that are known to be broken/problematic so you don't pull your hair out over them. For whatever the worth -  I create little text files with snippets of features and explanations so that I can quickly find them again.  I did that with one of the 8.5.3 books and many of those notes are still valid.  I just put them all in a folder called Sonar Snippets.

I highlight paragraphs when I come across something I know I will need to go back to... I have a real tendency to make everything I do much harder than it ever should be... I am making a real effort to get out of that.

Just wanted to say that I've been getting a lot of kind and friendly help on this forum (I outlined my Sonar X2 woes in another post), so my uninstall-the-program plans are officially on hold.  The support is much appreciated.  Ditto for the positive vibes on this thread....
