I have all but one of the xenos banks for Zeta.  They are the most useful presets I have come across for zeta, especially for the price.

For the life of me I can't figure out why people are so nitpicky about freebies. I owned sonar for years without the content club so anything they give is a bonus whether I use it or not. The platinum samples are amazing. Who cares if one has to take a moment to make a kit. As far as some of the itmes being "useless".. I call BS. If one took a fraction of tbe time spent moaning to be ceative, some benefit can be had from anything that has been offered. The great part about free is even if it was useless, you did not lose a thing.

I've owned Cakewalk and SONAR products for more than two decades, even without getting any freebies. I never said anything was "useless", and by no means was I "moaning" about anything.

The Platinum Samples drums are very good, and I appreciate the offer. I've been used to working directly with the kits and not loading the MIDI files and everything else that comes with the programs. I had asked Cakewalk if this was a known issue, but never received a response. But I never complained.

All that said, for the life of me, I can't figure out why people post the same message three times.

Steve..I was referring to people who specifically have said the freebies they received were useless.   That word has been thrown around on this post and several pertaining to freebies in the past. Since you were not the one claiming they were useless, I was not referring to you :)  Honestly, I expected the Drum samples to be in a Kit too, especially since it was designed for Session Drummer.  I think it's a legitimate thing to question and even then I just brush it off if I don't get a definitive answer.  I think the people who seem to feel entuitled are the ones that seem to expect Cakewalk to give them something like  Pro Channel Module every month.

For some reason, every now and then this forum posts things multiple times since the new forum software upgrade.  Sorry

No worries at all, dub. Thanks for clarifying!

On KVR, I've seen people complain about free synths or libraries not living up to their expectations, but I've always posted a note of thanks to anyone who's given away anything--even if I didn't end up using it. I do understand where you're coming from though, and I agree with you.

And since the "program" was made expressly for Session Drummer, I expected there to be a kit. I could have expressed that point better, just like you did. But I'll be looking to Platinum Samples the next time I need to buy drum samples, now that I've heard the quality of what they offer.
