I kind of want Nectar... but that's a pretty good price. Never really looked at the full capabilities of Melodyne. Now I will. Cheers.
I never really had many problems with VVocal since I always bounced the clips as a went along, but it's hard to beat Melodyne for this type of work. I personally find the "blobs" easier to work with, and there's less tendency to have that slightly "phasey" sound when the audio recording isn't optimal - I think Melodyne is more tolerant of source material. It ain't perfect, but it's very good.
