meh
Anytime I choose the preset "Stereo Slap-Back" it crashes the Audio engine...no sound at all.  If I shut down the project and re-start all is fine unless I try the same preset again.
Anybody else?

Works here on 8.5. Different SONAR version but same Sonitus Reverb version.

Just tried it here in X2a, and it works fine.

Can you think of anything else that's happening that might cause this?

Where are you inserting the Reverb? - bin, PC FXchain, clip etc.

What other FX are on track?

What sort of track? audio, S.I.T., softsynth.

I don't know why it's working here, but crashing for you, so I'm just fishing.

Did you try re-scanning your VSTs?

This may be your problem (from your signature): Win2008 Server R2 64-bit.

X2A is not supported under XP and I doubt it's supported on a server OS from the same time. X2 requires Windows 7 or 8.

Correct I do not think that it was ever tested On Windows2008 server but has worked fine.  Windows2008 R2 Server is the big brother of Win7 so thay are pretty much the same OS with the typical server add-ons.
The problem is only with the one preset.

I have it inserted into the effects bus, no other effects.  This is and audio guitar part.

Thanks for all the comments.

I don't think it's 2008 Server.  Noel (IIRC) said he uses server OS in his testing, and besides, I doubt it would affect only one preset.

Try this:  Restart Sonar.  Then create a new project and try the same thing (Don't copy anything over; create a track from scratch).
If still seeing same behavior, try the reverb as a send effect (instead of insert).
