Restarting Sonar will almost always fix it and 'sometimes' you can re-insert the plug or re-start the audio engine as well.

I've always had to reboot my computer, and even that doesn't always rectify the problem.

My current workaround is to remove the Concrete Limiter module that 'malfunctions', and, as it's usually the last Module/FX in the channel strip, I just insert another downstream bus and add another instance of the Limiter there.

What a right royal pain that is, but it saves me having to do a complete reboot.

Its a shame because the Pro Channel effects are really quite good and end up in our productions more and more. The Concrete Limiter and the La-2a emulation are worth the price alone.

Absolutely - virtually all of my own custom-made presets have the Concrete Limiter in them.

Messing with the EQ in Pro channel can and will cause problems too. I've had it do all kinds of weird things when moving nodes around. It loaded two eqs one time..followed by a crash. Still the concept is pretty awesome and the quality of the plugins are great.

The EQ weirdness has been around for awhile as well. The Pro Channel was such a great idea but I often get the impression that to accomplish it....lots of 'shoehorning' had to take place to get it to play nice with the older, existing code. Shiny new features sell product.......re-writing old code and then beta testing it to see what is gonna break produces little or no income whatsoever.  This is why I continue to say that we will see X3 before any kind of patch for X2. It just doesn't make any financial sense otherwise, no matter who much we want it. X2a=Vista....X3=Win 7!!

They got back to me asking for more info but did not provide a way to reply! Replying to the email didn't work and trying to contact them by email resulted in a request for filling out a long form with registration numbers etc. You'd think they'd make it easy to help them.

KeysmanIts surprising that a bug that has been around this long keeps evading the the fix list for each upgrade.
