  • Should I Put Together a Second Book of SONAR Tips with the Remaining Tips? (p.4)

What would be cool is a multi-cross platform book with tips on how to achieve similar results in Sonar, Cubase and Studio One. This would help people that are staying with Sonar and others looking to switch. I think a lot of users will be utilizing multiple DAW's, not wanting to get caught with all their eggs in one basket. Call it "The Big Switch Tips Book".

I will continue to use SPLAT for as long as it runs in my machine. I just don't want to take the time for new learning curves. It would be nice to have that last capstone guide from you.

Bittersweet, (mostly bitter) but I'd say give Sonar one last kiss goodbye by putting a capstone on your long legacy of fine work with Sonar.

Go for it!

I would certainly love to have a compilation of the recent tips (I had the first book, and I bought the EQ book when it became available on Reverb). But having said that, I realize we have a limited community of users (that will be shrinking rather than growing), so, if you're inclined to put this book together, I guess now would be the time to do something with it.

And aside from that, thanks for all you have already done and continue to do.

I'd do the same thing as the previous book (update, categorize, list the contents, fixx the typoze, etc.).

Rather than a second pdf, would it make more sense to include the new material in an expanded second edition of the first document?

I agree expanded 2nd edition makes more sense to me too.

T'would be nice if you did it, Craig.

Sorry if I missed it, but what would be the cost?

I'd buy it.
Can you also put together a Studio One tips?  I'd buy that too!

Yes please.

I think Scook has a good idea.  I now have Cubase Pro 9.5, so if you have crossover ideas for SO3, then Cubase users would paint the town green.

Thanks Craig.
