I'd like to try getting a bit more physical with my soft synths! It's not very inspiring using the mouse to tweak dials and knobs on screen so I'm wondering if there's a good midi controller surface that works well with Sonar X1 so I can start getting a bit more hands on. Something that's fairly easy to set up, stable and maybe at the lower end of the price range would be good (though I don't mind paying a bit more if it's going to be worth it).

Any suggestions please?

For low-end controllers, a lot of people seem to like the Behringer BCF2000, but I haven't tried it myself.

Thanks Scott, that looks interesting - I'll have a look at the Behringer. Anyone here have any practical experience with it (or any other)? Would be good to try something that Sonar users have had a good experience with.

By the way, when I said "low-end" I didn't mean low-quality (I meant low-cost). From what I've heard, it works well and has some nice features.
