I've uninstalled and re-installed CA2A 3x. I get the 2nd authentication prompt when opening a project with CA2A in it for the first time, but the plug is still missing.

Also - Dim Pro is missing. After my install I used the desktop icon to launch and do the 2nd authentication. I then deleted the icon. But X2 says DimPro is no-where. Please don't tell me I have to re-install X2 all over again.

I've re-installed DimPro so that's fixed. CA2A is still driving me crazy. Any ideas?

Have you tried refreshing your plugin list?

CA2A isn't included in the core program. If you haven't already copy the exe over from your old computer or download it from your store account again then install it.

Edit: Derp. I should probably actually read the OP. Yeah you may have to do a scan/plugin browser refresh.

Edit 2: You wouldn't have to do a full install. You could do a custom install where I think you can just install Dim Pro. CA2A should be in your store account (and maybe Din Pro as well I forget) so you could try another download in case something went wonky with the exe files. Sometimes they get corrupted and don't install properly.

Are you running SONAR as administrator? I believe that is necessary to register CA2A (and DimPro too but I usually register it using the standalone version).

I did another uninstall/reinstall of CA2A - then launched X2 and loaded a project with many CA2As in it. It prompted for the 2nd authentication - and it seems to be working (crosses fingers).

Copy-protection BS is a major PITA.

I do not know if it would matter but I would have started with an empty project and added CA2A to it to authenticate rather than load up an existing project with many instances of the plugin. The latter would not be typical of a first time use of the plug-in at all.
