Dear Sonar I get paid on the first of the month when I went to buy x2 last month the special had expired!!!  So I allocated my money to other projects.  Then 2 weeks later you made an announcement extending again to "just short of the month's end"  What about those of us who get paid on the first that is when I allocate how I spend my money please extend this offer I did try to buy it.  But I don't use credit cards so if I don't have the cash I don't purchase things.  So I save and pay as I go.  Please respect us.

I would give customer service a call to see if they can let you purchase after the first of the month... http://www.cakewalk.com/About/contact.aspx

It's worth a shot...

I am FREQUENTLY in the same boat.  I get paid on the 3rd every month, and I am constantly watching super duper dealios get posted and expire prior to ever getting a shot at purchasing.

scott has a good point, cakes customer service might not always be quick to return emails :)
but they are fair people and may extend an offer that's expired.(not my months expired, but week or 2 probably)

Shoot, so I should have mailed them the beginning of this month, when I wanted to buy X2 Producer but found out I was just two days late for the 20% off deal. Now I am waiting again to get X2 with a nice deal... which may be months. I simply can't buy something when I have just missed a great offer LOL

Jeroen - it's on offer right now with "biggest discount ever" according to the email I got today.

Not to be a wet blanket, but if things are so tight that you don't even have a credit card to float a purchase for a few weeks, you may want to reconsider a DAW software.

Man that makes me sound so.... responsible :P

Anticipate these events and start a savings fund for them, adding a little bit to it each month, so you never get caught off guard.

I have always been broke, probably always will be, but seems they trust me with a line of credit at the bank. It's free and you don't need a credit card. But if you screw up it's like only 9% , credit cards are more like 20%/

My line of credit is $10,000 and costs some interest if I dip into it, but you could also consider getting an overdraft.

Mine is good for $500 & is just $4.00 a month and an extra $3.00 if I use it.

Well worth it for an emergency purchase or consistently missing out on a deal.

Otherwise, you guys that get paid late like the first week of the next month, you'd just simply have to think ahead one month or so.
