KILLING MY WORKFLOW!!!

Trying to select a single audio clip (perc hit) within a repeating section with tails that overlap.  Done it a million times pre-X2.  Now it wants to grab all data in successive clips that overlap the tail of the first selected clip.  I simply want to select the single clip and cannot figure why it grabs audio data from other clips that are overlapping the first clip.

A single click on the clip's header isn't working?

I posted this same problem in another thread. So far it seems that you and I are the only ones having this problem. The worst part is that sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. Very frustrating.

This is a bug AFAICT. It has nothing to do with the record options.

I think I've had it with Sonar.  The last thing I want to do is adapt to a new DAW but I'm working on a custom trailer score for a BIG movie and have people up my ass to deliver quick style and I'm wasting hours trying to make typical edits in my session. Time to move on to a DAW for grownups.

Have you tried enabling Take Lanes on the track?

You should be able to isolate the clip you want that way
