Just got some crushing news...  A cousin who fell due to heat stroke/heat exhaustion while running in a half-marathon in Pennsylvania last weekend just passed away.  He was only 23!  A smart kid too (Stanford grad) and healthy (an athlete).  When he fell he hit his head causing a skull fracture and a concussion.  He never regained consciousness and his organs all started to fail a couple of days ago.
 
I have a few other things to say, but I won't violate the TOS here.  
 
Well I WAS having a nice day, not anymore...

Thanks for the support!  All families have their good eggs and their bad, but John was probably the best of the good eggs with unlimited potential and a bright future.  That makes it a much tougher pill to take...

That sucks Craig, I'm really sorry to hear that. Heat exhaustion is a very sneaky thing - sometimes when you're exerting yourself in the heat you don't realize just how hard it is on your body until it's too late. 23 is way too young to go.
