I have used Cakewalk (even before Sonar) and now Sonar Artist for years. All of a sudden, I cannot bring up the Transport Bar. The menu at the top says, File, Edit, Views, INsert, Process, Project, Utilities, Window, Help. There is no Transport option. I am in the middle of a project which I have been recording. All of a sudden when I brought the file back up to continue, I cannot record. I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't figure it out. HELP!

Hit the C key to see if it comes back

When I hit the C key, the Control Menu disappears and reappears. But the Transport controls and the transport bar cannot be found.

Right click on the Control bar and go to Modules, make sure Transport is checked in there

Don't forget that Lenses and Screensets will change what your screen shows. Like on mine I have advanced set perfectly for using 2 screens. But If I switch to Basic almost half of the icons on the top task bar are gone.

I actually never use the GUI transport. I use the hot keys. mostly Space bar -W and R That sort of does it all.
And you can toggle W and space bar behavior using Ctrl W.
