  • Audiosnap: Shorten audio between two markers without stretching audio after second marker?

Finally getting a chance to play around with this again. What I am trying to do is shorten a drum fill. The fill is fine but it is slower than the tempo which picks up again after the fill. So I've got two sets of markers (across all tracks). One set is just in front of the fill and the second set is just after the fill. I want to move the second set of markers toward the first set to shorten the fill putting it back in tempo. I want the audio AFTER the fill to remain exactly as is... just moved. I don't really want to put a split there if I don't have to. What I was about to do was use the Timing Tool for this but I'm worried that it will stretch the audio following the fill instead of just dragging it along with the second set of markers.

Make sense?

Thanks for any input.

Oh I forgot to mention... I have disabled all other markers except for the ones I have inserted. There are no transient markers after the one I inserted after the fill.

I'm just going to try it and see what happens but would definitely like to hear more about this because I will likely be doing a lot of this type of adjustment. Cheers.

Ah... it worked with the Smart Tool... I think. Cheers.
