Mr. torture
I have a some vocal tracks, they are chopped up from punching in lines. If I export the track as a raw wave, will it import into a new session chopped up just as before?

If should import as 1 single wav form, you'll just have silenced spots where you chopped out the audio. At least this has been my experience with Sonar.

If you select an individual track for export it will make a continuous wave with spaces.

Two other possibilities: if you WANT them chopped up, simply copy the seperate clips to the new session. If you WANT them to be one wave in the same session, select them all and choose Bounce to clips. You could also do the latter and copy the new wave to the new session instead of exporting and importing it.

Using an edited wave to start with lots of smaller clips and even space between the clips.... then bounce OR export.... you end up with ONE continuous wave.

No. If you export it to a wave file, it will be all in one audio clip. Its like bouncing, but your sending it out of Sonar and bouncing keeps it in Sonar.
