This forum is getting as old as the software to make it run. I cant believe someone with a good heart gives a positive statement on the forum and then the other loosers who critisize everything that comes into the forum. What a bunch of crap.  Cake, please update the forum software and add new people to the forum.  The ones here have been here tooooooooooo long.

I think you have that totally backwards. Its the long time members that are defending the OP. But as far as I can tell the controversy is over.

If everyone was a little more open minded there would be no need to defend the OP. I get the feeling that everyone is walking on their toes around here. It's very SAD.

I don't understand why some people get so het up, but there we are.  Where would we be without the self-appointed forum police?
 
I think Sonar is "awesome", too, and love working with it.  Thanks again for your positive post.

While following this thread I could kinda see both sides... but IMHO, Jim has come up with the solution/compromise...it might get the songs forum more active too....
 To be more politically correct, maybe a link to the tune posted in the Songs forum???

if you mean personal attacks,then yes i agree.
 
i find your statement; "other loosers who critisize " to be interesting.(not because loosers is spelled with one "o" (losers)
but because sometimes we all make mistakes,maybe i made one myself.never the matter.
 
see the other day when craig posted his video in this forum someone else spoke out.

i got the impression i wasnt alone feeling this way but i guess i am,my bad.
i guess im confused about where that line is drawn,do we need to ask permission from cakewalk(like craig did)
or do we just do it and see what happens.
 
maybe you dont know it but i happen to be one of the biggest supporters of sonar on this forum.
you may think im a "looser" because i said something but the fact is im passionate about what i think is right
and what i think is wrong.
 
if your going to post a new song/video in the main forum then i guess thats fine,
sorry you feel that way about people like me.
im not about resorting to personal attacks on people.
i may not be perfect but im not going there.
 

Well, we are all friends here & I know the ones that have been here a long time believe that SONAR IS TOTALLY AWESOME!!! 


But seriously I posted this thread because of all the negativity in this forum, I have been blessed with the time to use SONAR alot lately trying to finish my SoundTraxx Music Library Volume II's 100 tracks by April & I just love spending time with my SONAR & pushing myself to be creative and have fun at it also.  My life would not be the same if music creation was not in it and SONAR has been my production tool since Bars and Pipes Professional on my AMIGA 1000. (then PRO Audio-9 SONARS Ancestor)


It is an awesome tool and we are all blessed to have it in our lives from the shakers to the bakers & the music makers.
