@Spacey - No, I was talking about my store account on the Cakewalk site, not the forum.
I don't understand why it works differently for me. I changed my email address and log in to my account with the new email address. I use the GBP store, so perhaps it is different if you use the USA store.
Very odd.
Maybe local does make the difference. I do know, as I previously stated, it has worked the way they have stated for many years.
What I find odd is that you are saying you see ;
Change Email
Please note: This will not change the email address you use to login. This will only change where you receive order confirmation & registration emails.
and it doesn't hold true for you.
Thought I'd add....
No I won't be following somebodies link to the survey- if Cake wants me to fill it out they can do whatever they need to to get my email contact info correct. Just one more bug in their operations IMHO.
