First I heard about it. The fact that one can pay as you go on a month to month basis seems to good to be true. I would have thought there would have been more chatter about it...

I do not usually look here in this particular forum. I just had come across it via a posting from EastWest on my Facebook page.

I certainly would drop $30 on a months worth of access to all those VIs. Personally, I would have no need to have an annual membership.

Not using it myself, Bob, 'cause I'm pretty much old style. But you should definitely try it, first month is free.

I'm all chattered out on this subject.
 
I did it for about four months. Since I already own all the modules I've really wanted form EW I found the rest not to my needs. YMMV. 

I've dropped my subscription as well...I own what I use...
so didn't feel the need to continue.

I tried it out, too. Unlike many of my fellow forum members, I didn't care for their products--considered blasphemy, but I felt while they sounded good, just too difficult to use, and there are alternatives out there that are fine for me. However, I have no real problem with the idea of subscribing for an all-you-can-eat buffet of instruments, so if you like their products, or want to try them out, there is really very little harm in doing so. Although installing and managing the whole shebang available in Composer Cloud takes a looooooong time, initially.
