okay we have gone off the deep end...but if I understand what you are saying it is that a person who goes ahead and makes known the approach of another uses a person who has a specialization in finding and following a trail.

Yes, but that's also new to X2.

But according to some (no names) this feature was available in 8.5 Classic (Legacy) Edition, but was broken in all further updates, and always will remain broken regardless of any facts to the contrary.

Methinks this thread may be heading south soon, IMHO.
