Just getting started with Producer X2, long time sonar dabbler,
 
I select a few events and go to edit, copy.  When I paste the repetition of events ... nothing.  Oddly I CAN copy and paste events from another track, but not all of the events I select will paste from that track as well!
 
Any ideas?  Thanks
 
 
 

Track editing is enabled by the way.

If I select the edit tool with the icon tab it works, but not if I use F6 shortcut.

F6 is the Select Tool shortcut. The Edit tool is F8.

F6 is the Select Tool and when I use the F6 shortcut and then "select" the targeted events, paste is not enabled under edit / paste.  If I click on the TAB with icon for the select tool, then paste IS enabled under eidt / paste and the events paste into piano roll view as expected.
