Hello all,

A while back, someone posted something like this:  "how 'professional' is Sonar?"

Well, I've been using Sonar (see sig for details) for a month straight, daily recording/ mixing, multiple VST's, soft synths, hours a time.... Sonar has been ROCK SOLID.  Amazing.  No glitches.  No crashes.  No dropouts (NOT ONE).  I know I'm a little late with my praise of X1, but I haven't upgraded to X2 yet.... I know it's cheap, just haven't had the extra money.

Anyway - yes, Sonar is awesome and COMPLETELY CAPABLE of recording full-length, professional quality music.

any program can be called "Professional" Its not the program that makes it "Professional". Its the person operating it, that makes it professional

Uh, yeah, I know that....

That wasn't my point.  I was talking about the capability of the program.

Good news, Jimmy. I am thinking about going from 8.5 to X2: what held me back from upgrading ever since X1 was released, was the news about instability. X2 seems to be better in that regard than X1 but if someone out there is able to test X1 like you did without having any problems, I am sure I won't have to fear too much trouble with X2. I always keep my OS clean and mean and I think that also helps in keeping things stable.

And let us know when the album has been released!
