Hi all.

This Tech Tip was linked from the recent Cake email:

I can't get the audio samples to play. Anyone else having this problem? They won't play on this page and going to SC does not work either.

Just tried here with Win 7 Home Premium Firefox 21.0 Flash 11.7.700.224 and it all played fine.

Thanks. I'm on FF 16 but the brothers' SC page works OK. Everything else seems to play as well. Hummmm.....

Investigating it. Firefox doesn't seem to be totally pleased with the HTML5 version of SoundCloud's widget. What happens if you right-click on the example and select "Reload Frame"? Does it work for you then? A bit of a pain but it might help in the meantime.

Reload doesn't appear to help. I'm using XP with this computer. Maybe that's the problem but it's the first time I seen it.

Oh BTW, today I can't even get to SC via the audio clips. I get a "Oh NO! Sorry we can't find that sound." message. Very strange.

It doesn't work for me in FF either. But the workaround works for me: right-click, choose "This Frame" and then "Reload Frame" (as opposed to right-click and just "Reload"). But there's a lot of frames on the page, so it is kind of a pain.

I also had no luck in FF. And if I recall, had to use compatability mode in IE9 to get the soundcloud clips to play. Nice article by the way.
