As Ryan said, there are going to be issues and we are working on them. With so many people using it, there are bound to be issues we couldn't test for in our environment. The intent was to improve and the fact of the matter is that with any kind of change it's going to be hard to please everyone.

It's running pretty well for me now on IE9.   I know it's only a few days in, but if performance is going to get even better (it's already better than before for me) then it really should be a heck of an improvement.

I have yet to edit one post just so I can replace the text with "Duplicate courtesy of IE9".

Maybe I am just not seeing the setting to change it, but....

Everything in the forum is now HUGE.
Font's are larger. line spacing is larger. There is now a ton of white space everywhere. The thread listings now show about 10 on a page where there used to be 25. Everything is bigger and really spread out.
This is no good.
Is there a setting somewhere - similar to the gmail display density settings (compact, cozy, comfortable) - that will allow me to tighten up everything on the screen?

It is all scalable. Doesn't your browser have the ability to shrink it down? If not, you may want to try a different browser.

Ctrl + - will shrink the view, but it doesn't change the proportions.

That is strange. I have tried it on FF, IE, Chrome and Safari and haven't come across that. What browser are you using?

Firefox is working really well with no issues yet. I'm just glad to get rid of IETab. Navigation is much easier now as well.
