SampleMoog works fine for me on Windows 7-64 PC, running Sonar X2-64, and I am not using JBridge or anything else special for my 32-bit plugins.

You might want to try uninstalling, rebooting, then reinstalling.
Before adding to Sonar, run it as administrator in stand-alone mode so you can take care of any registration requirements.

What are your system specs?
SampleMoog tends to be resource-hungry ~ if you're running with minimum system specs, that could be contributing to your issues.

Also, recommend native ASIO or WDM drivers for your sound card.
In my experience, "fake" drivers like ASIO4ALL aren't worth the effort and unreliability when used with resource-heavy DAWS and plugins.

My PC is a 3GHz dual-core with 8 GB RAM - works fine.

SampleMoog has some AWESOME combi synth patches, so it's worth the effort to work through the issues, IMHO...

Thanks Randy.  I'm glad to know that it can work in Sonar X2 with Win7 64 bit.  I've got a quad core system with 16 gigs of ram so my resources should be able to handle it no problem.  Thanks for your suggestions on what to do to get it to work.  If I have success I will report back.  It'll be another week before I can mess with it again.

Are your sounds listed in it?

As I recall, you need to run it as administrator and tell it where to find its instruments the first time you run it. Or select "relist" and point it to the instruments folder (which is likely somewhere in the IK folders in Program Files (x86), unless you changed this during the install).

That interface on Sampletank is awful.  Its real hard to read the small print on the red.

Yes, the default red background is obnoxious, but you're not stuck with it.
You can change the color from the color button on the right side of the GUI.
I use a light blue background, and it is much easier to get along with.

SampleTank's red GUI looks fine on my DAW PC and the text, although tiny, is perfectly clear and readable.  However it looks hideous on my main (family) PC and almost unreadable on my laptop.  Apparently it requires the right graphics card and decent monitor.

MFanning, you can go through all the headaches of getting the software to maybe momentarily work with jbridge or you can save yourself the trouble and abandon IK. I've asked them for years when they are updating 32bit vstis to 64 bit... to paraphrase..."oh its in the works"....a bunch of vague responses and then nothing. You can even ask the developer of jbridge, I think there is a special caveat on his website noting IK glitches. Quite simply its neglected buggy software that creates more problems than it solves. Imagine being in the middle of a pro project and your IK plugin locks up your DAW...work gone! how many hrs would it really take a coder to fix the errors or even re-write from scratch? Probably not even a fraction of what you'll spend trying to get it working as advertised! So why aren't they addressing it? B/c they dont give a  fu$k! Cleanly written software will run on a cellphone, you really think you need a monster computer to run some simple samples?  You should see the PR campaign over the the grsltz site, there is one or two IK fluffer guys who say a lot of crap but never answer questions directly. They dont even directly list the prices of their products anymore. The point of my rant is to cut your losses and move on. Get a refund and find a alternative. Like an arcade where you have to buy tokens and credits. Swim at your own risk brother!

Thanks for everyone's input.  I have gotten SampleMoog to work in SonarX2 after reinstalling and running it first in administrator mode.  I am enjoying it!  I have found that for some reason it works better with X2's bitbride.  Jbridge seemed somewhat flaky and I was getting op.code dispatch 19 errors with it.  So far, good.  Thanks again!
