After much effort on both mine and Arturuas part  chronicled in another thread, I finally got the Arturua ASC software to open and work properly. This is their licensing and authorizing software for their newer instruments.
 
I was so excited when it popped up and showed all my instruments authorized, but when I tried to bring up a stand alone instrument it never comes up,  and windows events viewer does show a crash.If I tried to scan the VSTs with Platinum the plug in manager crashes, and so does scanning under preferences menu.

Sorry did not read other thread, but are you using iLok manager and is it opening OK? After a recent windows update (I'm on windows 7 64bit) my Pace licence manager now sometimes does not start of its own accord - no big issue, just takes a couple clicks to start manually - sorry if this has already been mentioned.

You can fix that by having iLok in delayed startup mode in Windows. Search the forum or Google for how to do this. I always have to use a cheat sheet I keep at the office for when I need to redo it.

Actually I have tried that and it doesn't work every time!! Instead I have just set up a shortcut on my desktop straight to services where I manually click on Pace and Start - at least I know its working before I start to get crashes!

Arturia does not use ILok, actually my Ilok vsts work fine

I would start by putting your system specs in your sig.  You never know how relevant it can be, until another user with the same (or similar) setup chimes in with their experience....
