I don't think this has anything to do with X2 but I thought this would be the best place to ask.
I use the K5 player for Scarbee bass and Cinematic Strings 2.1
All of a sudden when I try to load a CS2 instrument they're not listed...instead of a button with "instruments" it shows "browse".
If I click browse it becomes highlighted but nothing happens.
If I click on the little button just to the right I get "open containing folder" and "remove library".
If I open containing folder I see the the files I assume it uses (.nicnt, .nkc, .nkr, etc) but not sure what to do from there.
If I remove the library and direct it back there again I get the same "browse" button instead of "instruments"...any thoughts?
Thanks very much,
Randy

sounds like Kontakt forgot where the library is located.

Or you moved it<G>...

Anyway, 'browse' should allow you to locate the folder and point to it.

Maybe you missed my last statement- If I remove the library and direct it back there again I get the same "browse" button instead of "instruments".
Any idea which file extension K5 is looking for (which one is the "library" file)?
Thanks,
Randy
EDIT: I should have mentioned all of the CS2 instruments I had already loaded in an existing project are there and play fine...it's just when I try to insert another instance...thanks again

How does it look in the stand alone Kontakt player?

The same....I just downloaded the whole 36.2 GB CS2 installation but there's no installer that I can find so I just emailed support...I'll report back when I hear back in the morning (they've been incredibly responsive)...thanks!

I think you might find better luck at the Native Instruments Kontakt Forum.
