Sorry guys but i don't understand this post......READ THE MANUAL......please.
No offence but the half of the forum's questions are solved just learning our DAW.
Maybe is this also the fault of Sonar X2?

When you say "guys" I'm assuming you're referring to the OP ?
In his defence it's often quicker to ask here if you don't know where to look in the manual or you don't understand it.

I would suggest the first place you should look for help is in the Help menu and then go to the forum if you can't find an answer. You can easily search any topic in the Help Menu and usually solve your problem a lot quicker than posting in the forum and waiting for a response. A search on VST may have gotten him the answer quicker.

Yes... the plug in manager is the way to add them. Install them as the manufacturer recommends, and remember where it puts the files.... write the name and location of the folder if you can't remember it.
 
In the PIM navigate to that folder, add it to the VST/FX folder list locations and run the scan. At this point, it should now be showing up and available in the synth or audio FX list when you open them.

No Harm in helping people get up and running!!!! The help here comes pretty quick.
