Classic Dan. You definitely have a great feel for this style. I did like the way the song built, I thought it was fairly epic at the beginning but it got epicer (my term). I guess my only feeling at the end was that there was no let up from the epicness (not my term but gave my spell checker a shudder anyway), I'm not sure whether that was mix or production related. But that is not a criticism, just a thought. I guess this song would suit a scene where there was no let up in the action that was occurring.
It's a great piece of advice to begin your mix at the end. I have sometimes got to the end of the song only to find I have to go back to the start 'cause I'm over.

Wow is too small a word! Stupendous is closer but still inadequate! Totally masterful. I panic when I get near to double figures with tracks! I am in awe of your creativity!

Thank you Malcolm! I used to be the same way regarding track counts. Not anymore, lol.

I kind of felt the middle section was more of a breather after the epic opening and before the big finish. I thought about adding a fourth section between the middle and end and go in a subtly different direction and then return to the main theme, but didn't want to end up with an eight minute song, lol.

Very nice. Your work tends to be very visual, and this is no exception.
When I listen to your songs, I don't need video. My mind is the projector.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Bob! That's how I write. I have to hear what I am writing in my head by visualizing it, whether it be in a particular space or some event or interaction. I've always considered music to be painting with sound, so I guess that's why this works for me.

This was a wonderful treat for my ears Dan. Listened on my H-phones and was able to hear a lot of detail extremely clearly. Well done an all ends of this song......your production/mixing is top notch.

My avatar will go well with this song.

I love it, Dan.  It's complex, yet accessible.  You're a terrific composer, and you seem to be getting better and better.  I look forward to your next composition.
