OK briefly not been able to use Melodyne after upgrading to 4 - I have the studio version. Immediately I inserted Melodyne as a region FX it would crash my system - tried numerous things nothing worked (and apparently Melodyne were aware of this bug / fault) so have been waiting for this latest update.
Downloaded, installed exactly the same problem.
Uninstalled, went through everything and deleted everything I could find re Melodyne, re-installed again, still the same.
 
Anyone else got this issue??

Not here, Nigel. It's been fine, since I upgraded to 4 Studio and is again/still, yesterday, after the 4.04.004 update.
Hope it gets sussed out quickly, though!

I have no idea if this release contains the fix for SONAR. May want to let Celemony know the problem (or something like it) still exists.

This update is most certainly relevent for Essentsials. I download and updated no problem but does anyone have any idea what the .004 update entails.
 
I am running it inside Studio One as well. I see there is a proper manual download now for Essentials 4.
 
 

I'm using assistant and when I check for an update from within Melodyne, it indicates that .001 is the latest version. I think I'll stay put until I get more info on the .004 update.

I scoured the Melodyne site but couldn't find any place where the contents of updates are set out. Odd.

I've had numerous issues too up until now. I've downloaded 4.04.004, I'm on studio 4, installed, and just spent the last 10mins trying to make break it, unsuccessfully. I opened three acoustic guitar tracks, main vox, backing vox, cutting the main vox into 20 regions. That's 5 full tracks, with 20 regions open in the main vox, a total of 24 regions open at the same time, all able to be edited, and it was working at a speed it has never worked for me before, let alone more than one region open, which I havn't been able to do all year.
 
So, for me it's not just fixed, it's on fire, and I sure hope it stays that way.
 
So, there must still be individual problems that have something to do with system or hardware. I hope everyone get's it sorted. Been very frustrating.

Thanks for this - good to know its fixed on your system especially as you have Studio as well - now I can look at other settings / drivers on mine - before no one quite knew, especially as my crash was so immediately as soon as I inserted Melodyne, if it was Melodyne issue or system settings specific etc.
