A pal sent me 8 audio stems from a recording we did. Is it possible to get Sonar to create a track for each stem if i import them all together? I can import them individually adding a track for each, but when i put them in together they look more like take lanes. Is there a setting i can change?

What I do and it's pretty quick is insert 8 audio tracks- you can tell the insert dialog how many tracks you want so this is only one move. Then I open the browser and drag and drop each track making sure to drop at zero. 
 
Fancy pant version is I will insert track template tracks if I know what the tracks are... like Bass
