• SONAR
  • X2a - PRV Track Pane - any way to reduce the large font size?

I like the new widgets in the improved X2a PRV Track Pane, but the default font size of the track name and instrument name is rather large.

Is there a way to reduce the font size?

FYI, I don't see any reference to these particular labels in the initialization file (such as other label controls implemented there like 'TVBoldStripNames' or 'TVLargeStripNames').

To me, the font size of PRV Track Pane and that of TV track strips look the same. I changed all fonts in Sonar via Windows personal settings (I'm on Win 7 32bit), but I'm currently having a problem and actually thinking of starting a thread about it. The problem is that I can't switch the font of track strips back to its original font (all other sections can recover the default font).

Thanks for the reply.

My TV track names are smaller because I set the two previously-mentioned initialization file parameters to 0 some time ago (makes the names smaller and not bold):

TVBoldStripNames=0
TVLargeStripNames=0

This can be done under Preferences > File > Initialization File.

I could try playing with Windows font configs, but first would like to see if there is a SONAR-specific solution, to avoid complications with other apps, etc.

Hi, sorry for not reading your original post till the end. Although it's not listed in the reference guide, Cakewalk might know what variable you need to enter to change the font size of this new PRV Track Pane. For example, "VSTPlugInNameFormat" (which changes how plugins are displayed in the Browser) is not in the manual.
