  • Some Crackling in the Render?

Hey guys. I am trying to figure this out.. So basically I am just about done this song. I send my artist this version:

Can I get somebody to listen.. "There is a bit of snapping / crackling in the audio at around 0:17, 0:19, a mouth noise at 0:21, and more crackling at 0:24, 0:27, 0:31, 0:35, 0:37.  They seem to be gone by the first chorus...


can I get any advice from yall about thisÉÉ

Im using the latest Sonar x2 64
im using massive a bunch
im using alloy in a bunch of channels
...and i am using 2 ozones on the output (HIDES FROM THROWN OBJECTS)

Are you overloading your CPU? I would raise the audio buffers.

  It shouldn't but the amount of processing that is going on is substantial. Therefore I would try the solution. You may want to see if you can do without the extra Ozone.  

I should say the song sounds outstanding. But that is not the issue.

haha Thanks, John. I tried a render w/o ozone at all.. but it's still there... 


this is my cpu useage without ozone at the heaviest part of the song.. ill try increasing the buffer to some crazy amount and render again...

Its that first core that is most likely the problem.

Alt + Shift used to switch the keyboard back to normal on my Acer. Might be different on your. Just google the model number and Alt Character. For some reason though my laptop doesn't switch to French anymore. Weird. And yeah... for the dropouts I'd increase the buffers and make sure you uncheck Fast Bounce when you export.
