Mr. torture
Very confused how this all works. I need to export some 24 bit DI's of my guitars for re-amping. They say your peaks should be around -4 to -3 DB. Take a look at the screen shot of my level, am I at -9DB? The fader says -4.3 and the under the level meter it says -4.9. I am trusting the actual level meter is what I need to look at, so it currently showing -9DB would be accurate. Correct?

Yeah your level meter is where it's at, the level you record your signal has no correlation to the fader, that just controls the level of out put from the track

They are 2 separate things
The -4.9 is where it has peaked at to that point in time
The -9 is where it is currently at while the transport is moving
For recording purposes Id say set your input levels to between -9 & -6 while recording
