Does anyone here have any opinions about the Melda array of plug-ins....good, bad, or indifferent?

How about the drum instrument?  Anyone tried it?

Their plugins are quite good. I have the paid for free bundle which is very useful.

Same as John's experience. The free bundle has a few tools that are missing from SONAR. I also picked up the Convolution reverb during the recent march madness sale. Last year end, they had a blowout sale, if they do it again this year, I might buy the lot. As far as the drum software, I have not tried it. Here is the most recent thread from the software forum about it http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2770632

I have not used the drum instrument, but I rely on the Mastering Bundle for my music. Awesome stuff. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I just play with the settings until it sounds good... and it always does.

+1 Recommended.

MAutoAlign is super useful for quickly and easily correcting phase issues.

I think I read recently that Bitflipper uses them a lot and speaks quite highly of them, IIRC.

Maybe he'll chime in.

Now, in a world of arrogance, pride and particularly todays' generation of excessive self-adulation, ya just gotta love a humble but sincere comment like this.

Well said!

And if that isn't an endorsement among others here, what is?

I think I might have to check them out now myself, as well.

It's not just their products that are great. Their user support, too. Vojtech is very responsive.

I like Meldaproductions effects, mixing, mastering and freebie vsts.  They have sales every now and then.  I do not, however, like their MDrummer.  It just is not right for what I do or need.  As mentioned by others above, take a look at this thread for what others say about MDrummer: http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2770632  Save up for sales from ToonTrack or Platnium Samples or BFD or even Slate, but unless the MDrummer is really what you want to invest in, there are better alternatives around.
