Does using Fast Bounce actually effect the quality of the bounced audio in any way?  I've always un-selected it when exporting audio or using bounce to track thinking the quality was better NOT using fast bounce.

To add: You may run into a plugin FX that doesn't like the fast bounce and you may need to disable it when exporting, but this is a rare occasion.

Changing "BounceBufSizeMsec" to  zero in pref/config file can help with timing issues/time based effects going screwy when you fast bounce.

Since I did this I've had no problems with fast bounce.

It's pretty simple. If your plug-ins work with fast bounce enabled, use it if you wish, there will be no difference in quality. If you have plug-ins that cannot handle fast bounce, don't use it. It is pretty obvious when fast bounce does not work, the output, if any, will be distorted.

In my experience most are, that is why it is the default option. I have not cataloged the exceptions.
