Tripod it did occur to me that you might want to find out "why" the unit failed. As I said, I've always thought that Roland electronics where well made,,, I've got a studio full of Boss and Roland gear going back to the 80's. It all works 99%. 

So check all your cables. A small short circuit might have burnt the unit out.  And any studio should be checked for good power that's a given.

Speaking of power,,, we are getting a lot of thunder storms this time of year.... I totally unplug my main power bar when I'm not working these days. Nothing else will save you from a surge from lightning. Lightning can travel through the ground/earth or the neutral. That $1 power supply switch can arc too.  

Local TV guy back in the 90's told me that "That last storm took out over 100 TV sets, I've been swamped with calls"
