Yes, Cakewalk should not have used the term "Offline" to refer to the Reference Guide on your PC. The terms online and offline have been twisted a bit since their introduction years ago.

Just one other thing to keep in mind about the Reference Guide; all three versions, the pdf, windows help and the website contain slightly different information. The pdf was made shortly after the release of X2 and was based on the original help file. The windows help was updated one time when X2a was released. The website version is the most current.
