I posted this song a long while back. Sorry I haven't been in the songs forum for a while becaue I've been busy learning how to create CG objects and animation. I added some live action lip sync to the project and finally completed my first music video.

Start to finish its taken me more than a year to learn everything so far.

I hope you enjoy

Now off to listen to some of your songs as well.

Brave man I will say nothing about the dad dancing

Nice tune mix comes across well here and the video looks like you had some fun making the video.  Any reason why the cartoon characters all appear to have big heads.

Thanks for sharing

The extra characters the more cartoony ones with the umbrella's were created using a free tool and they tend to have more cartoony proportions.

The Dad Dancing? LOL I need a choreographer. I originally wanted to lip sync the first animated character to my voice but that will have to wait till my animation skills improve. Thanks for listening Wookie.

That's loads of fun Tom, and really well done. You have a good voice for this kind of tune.

'Ignorantism'...LOL!

Thanks James.

Hey its a word!

Ignorantism is usually defined as obscurantism which is defined here http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/obscurantism

I will leave it to you to figure out who or what I was thinking about when I added that word to the list. LOL

OK, this is a crack up! Thanks for the effort and it's a cool song and dance. How much did you pay your family! They all look great, and the song hits the mark. Nice lyrics, too.

You must have green screened parts of this - what brand of video camera are you using? It's pretty crisp and nothing got pixelated by the green screen - nice effort!

And was this Sony Vegas, to go with your Vegas shots?

thanks,
-Tom

Thanks Emerauldsoul. LOL The family did it for free and yes all the live action was done with a green screen.

I picked up a Nikon D5300 for this project because all my other cameras were very blurry. I had to set the camera to use manual iso and shutter speed. That really helped to get the crisp images I was looking for.

For the rest of the project everything was created and edited etc with Blender an open source 3d graphics modeling and video editing program.

It can be found at http://www.blender.org
