I feel pretty rough. I can speak now but I sound like Donald Duck's nephews. I don't get dizzy and feel like I'm going to pass out any more when I talk!!! I'm on a strict liquid diet till Monday. Pudding, apple sauce, and ensure with thickener.  Antibiotics for a week too.
I'm still choking and coughing after every bite and swallow but the Doc says that will mostly go away, hopefully. 
 
The voice is permanent. I guess I won't be getting any dates  without bribery. I could use Steve's picture again and tell them this is what I will like after the medications wear off.

You'll have to let us know how liquefied becan tastes. I'm guessing that the flavor is a mixture of becan and profound disappointment. I hope I'm wrong. There is becan soda (http://www.baconfreak.com/bacon-soda.html), you know.
