There is no way to authorize it.
You need to off line authorize it using a project export code assigned to your personal account.
 
I think this is going to be a tough one. Don't fall for a scam.
This isn't like the old Challenge + request type registration (paper keys). It is done using online servers (even offline authorization).
 

What people haven't understood yet is that Cakewalk switched to the on line activation system to avoid the massive piracy they had with the old system. People could easily "share" their serial and activation codes. The new system killed piracy dead. The only way I can see would be a hacker going deep inside the code and removing that part of the activation. Who would bother? What's in it for them? 
This is the danger of them releasing the magic code they have promised. That would cause piracy again not that they would care anymore,, but I'm sorry if you missed the boat, get over it and move on.

Yeah it seems like a warez request, totally inappropriate here or any else. The EULA is still enforcable even IF the Developement and delivery has been suspended. The mods should be on this ASAP.
