Timo Finkbeiner ...Cakewalk could benefit when selling Sonar would be supported. With german company's, for example Steinberg (Cubase) and Magix (Samplitude), it is no problem. There you can delete registrations or whole accounts. For example with Magix, you have to pay normally 10 Euro's for deleting a product. After that you can sell it. It's also a fact, that many people in germany don't buy Cakewalk Sonar, because they can't sell it - and no one know's what the future will bring. So if you are in need to sell it to make some money, you don't have the chance to do. And finally a new user will also buy future updates, an old user working interim with another daw won't. So maby Cakewalk should think about it and of course they can require a little payment for this service - like others also do. And a company being convinced of their products should not be so afraid, that too many people will change. I think it could be a chance to achieve more users, at least outside the USA.
