I think a combined EQ/analyzer would be very useful.

+1 to the larger Quad Curve pop-out window with analyzer.   That would be my number one request too.

My second would be a simplified Quad Curve with just high and low-pass filters.

My third is (and has been) a PC version of Channel Tools.

After that?   Tape emulation, Pultec EQ, Roland time-based FX, and whatever else CW can dream up.

Some great ideas on show here, I can't disagree with any of them.

I'd love to see a PC version of Channel Tools - it finds it's way onto an awfully large number of tracks in my productions.

@ Mike - I'm sorry to hear of your issues, if they are true,  but it kind of proves my point.  However tragic they are, it's not the PC modules fault.

Isn't your comment referred to as passive-aggressive?  It is obvious that I would not know about your problems, if they are indeed real.  You show your true colours on a daily basis.  Bullying, sarcastic, rude - but quick to try this passive-aggressive "I'm the victim" childish nonsense.  Please grow up.

Although my favorite would be a Pultec or Tape Emulation, has anyone mentioned a Fairchild 670?

Mind you, I seem to have a quite a few compressors already, so something else might be nice.  I like the sound of a Pultec and Tape Sat on drums, so either or both the above would be nice.

I like the spectrum eq mockup loptec. Some seriously talented guys on this forum.

For my part I would like lots of gadgets- eg: deeser, delays, transient designer, spectrum analyst, tilt eq like softube tonelux, nobel eq and old timer comp from PSP, tape machine etc

It's been a while though... hope the Cakewalk team are still interested in the future of ProChannel.

Another thing I would really like as a PC module would be a real nice VU Meter - peak/rms with Katz system scale/capability and lots of routing options. A more stripped version of the blue cat audio DP Meter plugin -  http://www.bluecataudio.com/Products/Product_DPeakMeterPro/

(Actually this might be one I need to pick up as a regular plugin.)

What about the Softube bundle for the ProChannel?
Active eq
FET Compressor
Focusing eq
Passive eq
TSAR-1R reverb
