Hi all,i disagree for analyzer..there are many good free plug ins for this

There are but the problem with them is the problem I have with all non PC plugs. Their interface doesn't automatically follow the in focus track like the PC and I find that a real pain that the PC solves.

I agree with all the suggestions here, and those that have been made over the past couple YEARS.

Cakewalk (or rather, Roland) really need to make a solid, directed effort to promote the ProChannel.

It's Sonar's best feature by far, and (sadly) the only reason I still work in X2.

Based on their current, and apparent lack of understanding of their target market, I (sadly) don't
hold out much hope for the old girl.

I'd truely love to be proven wrong tho...

Distressor isn't going to happen whilst the unit is still for sale at such a reasonable price. Empirical Labs would be fools to support that development. It's their flagship.

Does anyone remember X1 expanded? This was basically adding to pro channel. I would not be surprised if we see more of the same coming this fall. This leaves time for the dev team to address issues with the core product and the PC-plugin team to pickup sales before the next release. My guess is this is the marketing strategy. I guess we will see. Stay tuned.

What I'd like to see is more ProChannel plugs ported to VST.  I think Cakewalk should accept the fact that a lot of folks who are recording on a regular basis have a need (or a desire) to work in different DAW platforms.

Microtonic

Simple ProChannel frequency analyzer But We don`t need the simple! We need great professional multichannel analyzer with 3D function. If I want I can click to this smal windows and open big analyzer windows. Only this we need CakeWalk, Don`t make a simple function. CakeWalk! Do professional things at once!

Оf course we need Professional Loudness Analyzer System in ProChannel (True Peak, M, S, I peak, and more information about loudness) Analyzer system: K-12, K-14, K-20...

Gotta agree with Microtonic. Cakewalk needs to up it's Pro image. I understannd they have to also cater to beginners but, that should be the lower priced packages. When you get X2 Producer, you should get Pro plugs. I don't mean Pro-sumer, I mean Pro.
And, as far as the separate Pro Channel plugs, it would be nice to see different level plugs, at different price levels. The collaborations with some high end 3rd party developers is great.
Give me a Pro Channel version of the Sonnox Oxford stuff, or some of the high end Waves stuff, or Slate stuff or, etc. I'd be willing to pay a premium price for these kind of things

I also agree that it would be nice with a nice spectrum analyzer.. And to get a detailed view of what's happening I think it would be better if they put the frequency axis vertically (like in the draft pic in my first post). it feels a bit cramped to have the frequency span horisonally in the PC, I think.

another thing.. the sonitus effects still come in handy now and then. it would be nice to get these in PC format :) ...maybe if they could have buttons that shows different "pages" with settings?... either that or maybe make them expandible with a button, to show more settings. kind of like this(?):
