For anyone in the know of VCC, I've read the SOS review and they mention it should be inserted in the first FX slot of each channel.  If your using Pro channel also, then how do you make sure that VCC is doing its thing first.

You see the Pre/Post button? That is to place the PC pre or post fx bin... So you can have your vst/dx plugins before or after PC, but not between PC modules...

So simply place your fx bin pre by making the PC post... (Dash that's a mouthful!) ;-)

Google it.  There are many file comparisons out there allready.  I havent bought it yet as it needs an ilok but I will when I have enough tracks going to mixing stage.

You can download the example mixes from SOS - its subtle, but its audible..  Not sure if you need to be a subscriber, but here's the link: http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/oct11/articles/vccmedia.htm 

So I'm just A/Bing those now, and the effect is extremely subtle, to my ears. I think the idea is very interesting, but I've got to confess, I can't really hear it doing anything that remarkable.

In the SOS review, they say as much, but they also say it seems to make the mixing process seem a bit easier and quicker. They also point out that there was a rare amount of consensus in their office about it, with pretty much everyone becoming a convert after using it.

Anyone who's used it got a view on that?

 to confess, I can't really hear it doing anything that remarkable.  

 

and an iLok2 is required...

I use it on every mix and "emperors new clothes or not" I like it quite a bit.  Of course, I tend to abuse the "drive" knob so that might account for it.
